SHOP LOCAL continues to be the message from businesses to families in our city and county.
MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre proved that selling and buying is a healthy two-way street as it provided brilliant local free entertainment for customers and friends on St Patrick’s Day.
A vibrant and busy junction was packed with enthusiastic shoppers and revellers who enjoyed a programme of super music, song, dance and martial arts.
There was beautiful singing by Alize’s School of Music while youngsters from CMD Dance School entertained young and young at heart who loved every minute of the open air show.
In action too was Dragon’s Lair Martial Arts Club that staged a spectacular performance of the activities taught to them at what is arguably Kilkenny’s biggest Martial Arts and Fitness Centre.
There too was Larry the Leprechaun who delighted in selfies with enthusiastic boys and girls.
The fun and games at MacDonagh Junction proved to be a big hit on a bright and very cheerful St Patrick’s Day.
