CARRICKSHOCK was expected to win its intermediate clash with Danesfort but it was no cakewalk for the men from the deep south who were made to fight all the way by a mixture of youth and experience from Danesfort.
Danesfort is having a trying time but while the club has been put through the wringer of local hurling, it still has its pride and will to win as shown in this battle.
The ‘Shock is in good form and deserved the points on a scoreline of 1-14 to 0-15 in an interesting game at James Stephens GAA Complex on the Kells Road.
